About

The company started on Atkinson Ave, Otahuhu in 1990 where we rented the workshop behind a service station. In 1993 we bought a property further down Atkinson Ave, which is where we are today. We have been in business in Otahuhu for 25 years.

The workshop was small but we gradually built on to the building to make it more workable. In 2007 we built an extra 200 sq metre worshop in front and attached it to the old workshop.

This really moved us ahead, because of the fact it looked more professional and more visual from the road. We added extra hoists and equipment to expand our service capabilities.

Phils experience started back in the 1970s, with an apprentiship in East Tamaki, which was a farming area, where they worked on a big range of vehicles, cars, trucks and farm equipment. Phil left there, fully qualified, and went to work in Sydney, specilising in Automatic Transmissions.

Returning back to NZ, Phil then specilised in Tuning for many years, which was based in the workshop we ended up renting for our own business.

We have always covered a full range of repairs on all makes and models, petrol, diesel vehicles, tyres, electrical repairs

Phil has been in the trade for 44 years starting at the age of 15.

Alex has been with the company for over 11 years and is now in partnership with Phil and Karen. Alex previously worked for a Fleet company and he specialised in Mobile Fleet Servicing, mainly for the police vehicles, Alex has broadend his motor trade knowledge by taking on and excelling in auto electrical.

Together Alex and Phil have over 60 years experience in the Motor Trade.
